For workshops: your file stays protected, because a customer with an RTD can't open or edit the map. The vehicle licence is paid in credits, just like with an MPVI. Vehicles that support it are marked RTD4.

The list comes from the official site hptuners.eu. The credit count covers the engine (ECM) licence; transmissions and other controllers are licensed separately. The white number is the credit count. The blue number in brackets shows which MPVI device the model works with, and RTD4 means the model supports remote tuning. Prices are calculated at €38 per credit. Some newer ECUs (for example Bosch MG1 on powersports vehicles) need a one-time HP Tuners ECU service, and we arrange the shipping.

Frequently asked questions
How many credits does my vehicle need?
It depends on the vehicle and the controller. Send us the make, model and year and we'll tell you the exact number right away. You can also check it yourself in the "How many credits for your vehicle?" menu.
What is ASF RTD and how does it work?
ASF RTD is a remote tuning device. You plug it into the vehicle and send us the original, and we send back a finished file through the HP Tuners TDN network for you to flash yourself. It works on vehicles marked RTD4.
Does HP Tuners work on European cars?
Yes. VW, Audi, Škoda and Seat (TSI, TFSI, TDI and DSG), Mercedes-AMG, European Ford, Opel, Nissan, Jaguar and Land Rover are supported, along with American vehicles, powersports and personal watercraft. See the list in "Supported vehicles" above.
Can you tune a Sea-Doo or a Can-Am?
Yes. Sea-Doo watercraft, Can-Am ATVs and UTVs, Polaris and Yamaha WaveRunner are tuned through the OBD port with the matching adapter cable. Some newer MG1 ECUs need a one-time HP Tuners service.
How fast do I get credits?
After payment, credits are added to your MPVI serial number, usually the same day.
Can the original file be restored?
Yes. The original is read and saved before any change and can be restored at any time.
Do you ship outside Montenegro?
Yes, across the Balkans and worldwide, by DHL Express or post. Credits are digital, so there's no shipping.
