BMW M235i Stage 2 on the dyno: 400 HP and 540 Nm
A BMW M235i (F22, 2015) with the 3.0 turbo N55 engine came to us for Stage 2. We measured it on our dyno in Danilovgrad, wrote a map for this car and tested it on the dyno. The result: 400 HP and 540 Nm, 74 HP and 90 Nm more than before.

Both runs were made on the same dyno in our workshop in Danilovgrad. That is about 23% more power and 20% more torque, with the engine running within safe limits.
What we did
- Baseline measurement. The car was measured on the dyno first, so we know exactly where we start.
- Stage 2 map written for this car. Not a ready-made file. Boost, ignition and fuelling were tuned together, with the parameters checked on every run.
- Thermostat maps. Optimised cooling control, so the engine holds its temperature even under full load.
- Decat. Exhaust system without a catalytic converter, with the software adapted to it.
- Pops & bangs. Crackles from the exhaust when you lift off the throttle.

Why on the dyno
- All our files are developed and tested on our dynos: 4x4 dyno, 2WD hub dyno and bike dyno.
- On the dyno you see the whole power and torque curve, not just the peak number.
- If something isn't right, you see it on the dyno, not on the road.
- You get before and after measurements, so you know exactly what you got.
