These flaws concern Kia's <strong>back-end systems<\/strong> , which gave attackers access to key vehicle functions, including <strong>unlocking<\/strong>, <strong>starting the engine<\/strong> and <strong>activating the horn<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The problem was identified in vehicles produced after 2013, and although Kia didn't immediately comment on the details of the incident, the case has raised concerns about the security of modern internet-connected vehicles.
